Where There is Darkness
Where There is Darkness examines the plight of a West Indian man, Albert Williams, on the eve of his return to the Caribbean after an absence of 25 years.
After a farewell party at his house he faces the reality of what his time in Britain has meant to him, his family and friends. We discover that the "respectable" family life that Albert Williams has projected to the world, merely masks a more complicated, and tragic past. As Albert's son comes to terms with his father, the reality of the past 25 years comes into view.
